THE CROFT FARM ESCAPE

Nestled amongst whimsical woodlands to one side, with views of the rolling hills of Great Gaddesden to the other, The Croft Farm is founded on land of outstanding beauty. Perfectly situated on the doorstep of two National Parks, it is a space designed to escape the fast-paced, digitalised modern world,

and reconnect with yourself, others and Mother Nature. A staycation space to slow down, enjoy, breathe pure air and make memories to cherish. Much of what you find in this space has been built using reclaimed materials by re-purposing waste from construction sites. This eco-conscious attitude drives the ambition to adopt solutions for rain-water harvesting and renewable energy. The Croft Farm has a colourful history having initially started out as the ripe land of DeebsDay Music and Arts Festival and the creative quirks dotted around the space are a reminder of this charm. As well as the beautiful spaces for our wellbeing practices and living quarters, the farm comes with extra luxury facilities such as an ice bath, hot tub and more!

The Practices:

YOGA - Yoga is at the heart of all we will be sharing on this retreat, with awareness that 'yoga' extends far beyond our physical Asana practices.

You will be guided through gently paced, rejuvenating, soul soothing practices, bringing balance to our energising days with calming restorative evenings.

Breathwork, meditation, yoga inspired warm ups / cool downs and yoga philosophy will also be incorporated in a variety

of our other activities and throughout our retreat in general.

FEEL FLOWS - Feel Flows is a unique and playful embodiment practice created by Mica, which incorporates yoga, intuitive dance and mindful movement, accompanied by an eclectic and consciously curated soundtrack. In this practice, you are invited you to ease out of your mind, tap into your body and step out of your comfort zone as we release stagnant energy, embody different energies, characters and elements, harness the transformative powers of music and movement and connect more deeply with ourselves and one another, whilst having a whole lot of fun too!

SUNRISE ECSTATIC DANCE - A soul-stirring awakening of the body, practiced barefoot to an diverse, (mostly) electronic musical journey of worldly rhythms.

We will greet the day dancing into the sunshine with this high-vibe movement and sound session, escaping self-consciousness and moving into a state of flow. Releasing, expressing, uplifting and connecting on the sacred dancefloor, communicating only through movement only (no talking), connecting wholeheartedly with our authentic selves in the simple yet so very powerful act of freeform dance.

SACRED CACAO CEREMONY - The beautiful, heart-healing medicine of Mama Cacao connects us with love and kindness, wisdom and truth, clarity and peace. In this ceremony we will drop from our heads into our heart space as we navigate with feeling over thought, dispersing blockages and rebalancing our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. This ceremony will also include a short mindful storytelling of the mythical history and cultural significance of cacao.

CAMPFIRE RITUALS & ENTERTAINMENT -

Healing and nourishment through joy, creativity, inspiration and social connection are themes that run throughout all WBR retreats.

With this in mind, we always have a wonderful range of fun entertainment - from special guest performances to 'throat chakra karaoke' to drum circles and more. We will also connect with one other through storytelling, sharing and engaging in a variety of rituals in our evenings around the campfire.

THE FOOD -

Food has always been a key feature of Wellbeing Rituals retreats. Through vibrant, health focused, plantbased recipes, we encourage our community to not only nourish our bodies with goodness but also to use our creativity and find empowerment through learning new ways to nurture ourselves from the inside out, whilst creating the most enjoyable mindful eating experiences too. Our community style banquets on our Weekender retreats are a testimony to this ethos. While half the group will be led in helping to prepare Mica's delish plant-powered recipes, the other half will go consciously foraging to create the most stunning naturally decorated dining tables - and later reversing roles. Here we also practice both being of service with love and care, and receiving with grace and gratitude.

Accomodation Options:

THE COW SHED & STABLES

With two beautiful dwellings that connect smoothly into safe cosy retreat space, we will be staying the The Cow Shed & The Stables, in all their original historical charm, with a luxury touch and the additional crofty upcycled loving finish. For nearly 100 years this barn has remained in its traditional state, where cows were once fed, sheep sheared and the wood dried and stored for the cold winters. Today it is a new space for our wider community to connect with the land and offers us a space to heal, relax, teach, learn and connect.

Room 2 - 4 single beds, £550 pp
