In this very special collaboration, Mica Francis-Angel (Wellbeing Rituals) and Laura Cherry (Rising Soul Dance) are coming together in sweet harmony to offer this dreamy day-retreat 'Let The Sun Shine In'!

A colourful and soul nourishing experience inspired by their shared love of music, movement, dance, nature, psychedelia, soul expanding grooves, playful yet deep holistic wellbeing practices, uplifting community spirit and radical self-expression.

Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork

We will engage in gentle varieties of these ancient practices to help us ground, centre and flow throughout the day. Calming our minds, strengthening the connection between our body and mind, clearing energy blocks, coming back to our most vital breath, promoting relaxation and mindfulness, connecting with source and supporting mobility and flexibility.

Rising Soul Dance // Feel Flows

This unique, intuitive practice naturally merges both Laura and Mica's embodied dance and movement offerings. Releasing stagnant energy, awakening and activating our chakras, tapping into our mind-body connection and harnessing the transformational powers of dance. Partly guided with inspired exercises and visualisation, Qi Gong and kundalini yoga influences, and partly a creative free-flow space of deep authenticity, we will journey through our senses, emotions, energies and imagination on our grassy garden dancefloor. Movement is medicine.

Eclectic Musical Experiences 

Flowing through an uplifting and carefully curated variety of energies and genres, throughout the day we will weave through Psychedelia, Vintage Soul, Rock & Roll, Disco, Jazz, Dreamy soundscapes, Ibiza Chillout, Rare Grooves, Funk, House, Healing Frequencies & more! With DJ mixes and playlists lovingly created especially for this event by Mica and Laura.

Sacred Cacao Ceremony

The beautiful, heart-healing medicine of Mama Cacao connects us with love and kindness, wisdom and truth, clarity and peace. In this ceremony we will drop from our heads into our heart space as we navigate with feeling over thought, dispersing blockages and rebalancing our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. This ceremony will also include a short mindful storytelling of the mythical history and cultural significance of cacao.

Plantbased Soul Food Brunch

A vibrant plant-powered lunch inspired by flavours of the Caribbean (Mica's roots), will be served alongside light snacks, summer fruits and botanical elixirs, keeping us all feeling satisfied and nourished throughout the day.

Creative Self-Expression Activities

We will be using finger-painting to creatively express ourselves on the canvas. In this mindful art workshop, post dance, we will meditatively paint with a judgement-free intention, giving ourselves permission to play as we explore our thoughts and feelings whilst increasing self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-understanding as well as creating space for relaxation and chill. Creative expression can be simple and fun yet profoundly deep and healing. 

We will also have a little Summer of Love inspired suprise self-expression and group activity at the end of our day together too!
